Wrapping up encountER: the best of regional MICE in Bologna

One year after the success of the first edition, the only B2B workshop dedicated to MICE in Emilia-Romagna, encountER, is back. The event, organized by I'Meetaly, involved the territories of Bologna and Modena from February 17 to 20, 2024.
EncountER brought qualified and specialized international operators to discover the region's MICE possibilities through a series of site visits in venues, hotels and museums and characteristic tours and experiences themed on motors, music and food, all elements that make the events unique.
Specifically, after a short walk around the historic center, involving tourist spots such as Piazza Maggiore and the Archiginnasio, the buyers visited venues such as Palazzo Boncompagni, Palazzo Isolani and Salotto Boschi; among the experiences chosen for this edition, the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Maranello, the Pavarotti Foundation and a local Acetaia in Modena.
On February 19, the enchanting Palazzo Re Enzo was the stage for a special B2B workshop that put international buyers and top local suppliers in direct contact. For the occasion, the Bologna Convention Bureau team had the opportunity to interview two international buyers, Emmanuel Latilla, CEO of Kerston BV, and Jennifer Boldrini, owner of Gemma, whose feedback was positive. In the evening, I Portici Hotel hosted an elegant social dinner.
