BolognaFiere closes H1 with a 26% revenue increase and doubled net profit

The BolognaFiere Group reports extraordinary results for the first half of 2025, consolidating its position among the leading European trade fair operators and confirming Bologna’s role as a top international destination for events of all sizes.

Consolidated Financial Results

In the first six months of 2025, the Group achieved €193.1 million in revenue, up 26% from €153.1 million in the same period of 2024.
EBITDA rose to €51 million (+42%), while EBIT reached €40.8 million (+74%). Net profit more than doubled, increasing from €12.5 million to €25.9 million.
The net financial position remains solid and positive at €63.2 million, improving by nearly €5 million compared to the end of 2024.

Internationally Relevant Events

Growth was driven by flagship events such as Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, which attracted 255,000 professionals from 150 countries, with a 12.4% increase in new contacts.
Zoomark saw a 23% increase in exhibitors and a 32% expansion of exhibition space, welcoming visitors from over 120 countries.
Other notable events include Marca by BolognaFiere, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, and MECSPE, confirming the Group’s ability to attract high-level international trade shows.

Strategic Investments and Sustainability

Contributing to growth, the Group also acquired 51% of Fratelli Graziano S.r.l., strengthening its position in the business fittings sector.
A project has also been approved for the construction of a new multifunctional pavilion at the Bologna trade fair district, featuring an arena with 10,500 seats, scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. These investments demonstrate BolognaFiere’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and infrastructure development.
