All our B2B meetings and trade shows in 2026: promoting Bologna in Italy and abroad

With the start of the new year, our team is gearing up for a busy schedule of B2B appointments across Italy and Europe, including trade fairs, workshops and international meetings dedicated to the MICE sector. Throughout the year, we will take part in key industry events to meet buyers and professionals, present Bologna as a destination and create new business opportunities for the area.

A packed schedule across Italy and Europe

These appointments play a central role in our destination promotion activities. Over the course of the year, we will travel to several Italian cities, including Trieste, Rome and Milan, as well as major European hubs such as Budapest, Helsinki and Amsterdam. We will attend events hosted by leading MICE associations and organisations, including City Destinations Alliance, PCMA, Ediman and MICE & More.

The calendar features major international trade shows such as IMEX and IBTM, key global showcases for the industry, alongside more targeted and specialised formats, including the Events Club Associations Forum and the Italy at Hand International roadshows.

Bologna will also host some key appointments in 2026, from the fourth edition of EncountER by I’Meetaly, held between Bologna and Modena, to the Emilia-Romagna edition of Italy at Hand Homebound. These events offer valuable opportunities to present the region’s strengths to selected international operators.
