Our calendar of B2B appointments for 2024

Promoting the destination for MICE events is our priority as the city's official Convention Bureau. At the beginning of each year we draft the list of planned activities, and these include numerous participations in industry events and fairs , where our team has the opportunity to personally present the destination and to collect quality contacts.

In addition to being present at the main annual fairs, we also participate in workshops dedicated to b2b, in order to present Bologna as a destination well-prepared to host all types of events.

Throughout the year 2024 we will be busy promoting Bologna, both nationally, in nearby cities such as Florence, Turin and Parma, but also abroad, including Barcelona, Vienna, Abu Dabhi and Lisbon, guests of important events organized by ICCA, Convention Bureau Italia, M&I and Ediman. Just like every year, we will attend IMEX and IBTM, the most relevant international fairs for MICE, but will not miss to portray the best of MICE Bologna in all the initiatives in which we will participate, such as Full Contact or Convening EMEA 2024.

In addition, we will have the pleasure of hosting four very special b2b appointments in Bologna: the second edition of encountER, the only B2B workshop dedicated to MICE in Emilia-Romagna; the International Conference & General Assembly of City Destinations Alliance, the leading event of the most important association of innovative European tourism destinations; and a leg of Italy at Hand on Tour, an annual fam trip designed for international buyers interested in Bologna, and Italian Knowledge Leaders - The Exchange by Convention Bureau Italia.
