ICRS Focus Meeting

The ICRS (International Cartilage Regeneration and Joint Preservation Society) is the main forum for international collaboration in cartilaginous tissue research. Recognizing that there is a continuum from cartilage injury to degenerative joint disease they bring together basic scientists, clinical researchers, physicians and members of industry, engaged or interested in the field of articular biology, its genetic basis and regenerative medicine.

The theme of this association's Focus Meeting will be "Ortho-Biologics: From the Laboratory to the Clinics" and the programme will include hot topics on cells (autologous, heterologous from different sources, extracellular vesicles, secretome), growth factors (PRP), biomaterials and medical devices and some issues related to the intellectual properties discussed by experts in this field.

The meeting will be held at Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute, Bologna, 6th and 7th of October.
