The small window on Via Piella is one of Bologna's hidden gems, tucked away in a small side street parallel to Via Indipendenza. This romantic viewpoint overlooking the Canale delle Moline was reopened in 1998 and has since grown steadily in popularity, attracting tourists and lovers alike and earning itself the nickname “Little Venice”.
The menu features traditional Bolognese cuisine, with classic first courses such as lasagne, tortellini, tortelloni and tagliatelle, all strictly handmade. For main courses, there is a wide variety to choose from: crescentine and cold cuts, boiled meats, ossobuco, Bolognese cutlets, grilled meats and tasty fillets. And to finish off in style: traditional desserts such as zuppa inglese and rice cake.
