IRRMA-11

The International Topical Meeting on Industrial Radiation and Radioisotope Measurement Applications (IRRMA) is a triennial event organized with the purpose of bringing together scientists and engineers from around the world who share an interest in radiation and radioisotope measurement applications. This year's edition, IRRMA-11, is being organized by Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna and it will be held at the Belmeloro Complex from July 23-28, 2023.

The meeting is devoted to current trends and potential future issues involving radiation and radioisotopes. The technical sessions will include invited lectures by leading experts in their fields, contributed oral papers and poster presentations of contributed papers. Attendees will have an opportunity to share ideas on industrial uses of radiation and radioisotopes, and also on research and applications in related fields.

During IRMMA-11, a satellite workshop of the IIFP is organized. The International Initiative on X-ray Fundamental Parameters (IIFP) was created as an expression of common interest in the improvement of X-ray FPs (i.e. data related to the interactions of X-rays with matter) in a joint effort of national metrology institutes, academic laboratories and industrial companies.
